I’m thrilled to be honorary chairperson for the Assistance Center’s "From the Heart" No Gala, Gala. Their work - day in and day out - saves lives in large and small ways that we will never know! Let’s help and bring the love this Valentine’s Day to assist in this effort. And, do you know the best part? We can support this important work without having to buy a new outfit, fight the traffic or leave the couch
I want to thank the Collin County Assistance Center for assisting me in my time of need. I was missing work due to an injury, lost my car and I was having to pay uber to go back and forth to work. I had went ti several different places for assistance and everyone turned me away. I was blessed to have found the center they helped me to get back on my feet and I was able to keep a roof over my head. Thank you so much and keep up the good work for others.
It was not easy having to ask for help. I'm not used to being in a position in which I was required to do so. I am so appreciative of those who had the heart to help.
Receiving rental assistance from the Assistance Center of Collin County during a difficult time made a meaningful difference for me. When I was unable to pay my full rent balance, this support helped prevent further financial strain and allowed me to remain safely housed. The assistance provided stability, peace of mind, and the ability to focus on regaining my footing without the fear of losing my home. I am deeply grateful to the private donors whose generosity made this support possible.
Rental assistance is not abstract—it is the difference between stability and crisis. The support I received allowed me to stay focused on regaining financial footing rather than navigating emergency housing. I am deeply grateful to the Assistance Center and its donors for recognizing the real, human impact of keeping people housed when they are doing everything they can to recover.

This Valentine’s season, we’re skipping the ballroom—but not the impact. Your gift helps keep families housed, utilities on, and basic needs met during times of unexpected crisis.
No tickets.
No schedules.
No pressure.
Just meaningful giving—from the heart.
