Information on Rental Assistance
The Assistance Center of Collin County (ACCC) provides rental assistance to eligible households experiencing a temporary financial crisis. Funding is Limited and assistance is not guaranteed.
Eligibility Requirements:
- Reside in Collin County
- Be experiencing a documented financial hardship or housing crisis
- Meet the income and program eligibility guidelines
Provide the following documentation:
- Valid photo ID for all adult household members
- Proof of residency
- Proof of household income
- Current lease agreement
- Current Bank Statements
- Documentation supporting your financial hardship
How to Apply
Collin County Rental Assistance (CMTX)
THE PORTAL WILL OPEN ON AUGUST 31ST FOR SEPTEMBER RENT ASSISTANCE.
If you are seeking assistance for SEPTEMBER, please confirm with your landlord that they are willing to accept ACH Direct Deposit via a third-party vendor. Once confirmed, please call us on the week of August 18th to schedule an appointment for September rent assistance.
The program is available to eligible residents through Collin County
Application Steps:
- Complete the online CMTX application
- Upload all required documentation, including your bank statements
- Submit your application for review
- If additional information is needed or you are eligible for assistance, a case manager will contact you within next steps
Important: Incomplete applicants will be automatically declined. Please ensure all requested documents are uploaded before submitting your application. We do not accept walk-in appointments.
