We are a community-based organization focused on helping to make the world around us a better, happier place. With the help of our tireless staff, we organize fundraisers, exciting community-building events, and in-depth training sessions for our volunteers.
Providing people in crisis with information regarding agencies, non-profits and faith-based organizations to contact for assistance.
Helping individuals and families with temporary financial assistance related to housing and utility payments to avoid eviction and/or utility disconnection.
The Assistance Center is extremely proud of those organizations, corporations, churches, foundations and individuals that have joined us in our efforts to stabilize families allowing them the peace of mind to move forward. But the need in Collin County is great so growing our donor base is always a priority for our organization. Annually the Assistance Center has to say no to more than 500 qualified requests. In addition, with the continual increases in cost of goods, services and rents, listed wage earners are in constant struggle to make ends meet.
