Help Thy Neighbor Program

  • This initiative was created as a way for clients to "pay it forward" and support the next family in need.  This is a year-round program divided into 4 quarters, each focused on meeting essential needs in our community.

As part of the process, once a client is approved for rent or utility assistance, they receive a "Next Steps" link that includes a list of requested items. Each client is asked to bring in ten items for the quarter that we assisted them in, from a list, to contribute to the program.

  • 1st Quarter - Homeless Essentials (Providing essential items to individuals experiencing homelessness to help them stay safe, warm, and supported.)
  • 2nd Quarter - Tools 4 School (Equipping students with the tools they need to learn, grow, and succeed in the classroom.)
  • 3rd Quarter - Food Drive (Collecting and distributing food to help families in need and fight hunger in our community.)
  • 4th Quarter - Christmas Gifts for Teens (Bringing joy to teens during the holiday season by providing gifts and showing them they are valued and cared for.)
