The Assistance Center provides limited rent and utility assistance to eligible Collin County residents experiencing financial hardship.
Eligibility Requirements:
-Must reside in Collin County
-Must provide:
- Photo ID
- Identification
- Proof of Residency
- Proof of all household income
- Documentation of the current financial crisis

-Must be willing to develop a plan for long-term financial stability, which may include attending Financial Literacy and/or Employment Workshop classes.
How to Apply:
-Initial applications must be completed by phone
-If eligible, applicants will be scheduled for an in-person appointment with a caseworker
-Financial Assistance is available by appointment only

Through community partnerships, we offer seasonal assistance for eligible families.

- Summer4Lunch
- Tools4School
- Thanksgiving Meals Assistance
- Hopes for Holiday Program
- Senior Programs
- Resources Assistance
Eligibility:
- Applicants must reside within Plano ISD boundaries for seasonal programs
- Applications are completed by phone through the Assistance line while programs are open
